At DesignMED, designers and developers of medical electronic devices have the chance to network with experts, get questions answered, explore a medical design exhibit area and attend sessions covering medical electronics design and regulatory issues. The Design Issues track looks at hardware and software issues specific to the medical community. This includes implantable systems, extreme low-power design, sensing, and medical imaging. It  covers microprocessor and operating system selection and implementation, analog front-end design, wireless/security issues, imaging, and user-interface design, all as they relate to medical-specific applications. The Regulatory Issues track looks at the regulatory issues affecting designers (and investors) of medical devices and systems.
