Magnetic Research Facility
21 April 2010
On the 19th April Procept launched its new magnetic research and calibration facility in central Victoria. The facility boasts the latest in aerospace and defence technology enabling further research into magnetic fields and their affect on electronic instrumentation and sensors.
“This investment will provide us with the technology to further expand on our knowledge in magnetics and enable Procept to continue to develop state-of-the-art sensory devices.” said Aaron Maher, General Manager of Procept’s embedded product development group.
The research facility will be used for R&D into the development of magnetic systems, calibration of instrumentation and as a magnetic observatory to gain a further understanding on how the Earth’s magnetic fields affect precision instrumentation.
