In round one of the Victorian Governments Smart SMEs Market Validation Program, Procept was awarded funding to undertake a feasibility study into an automated biophony sensor system in cooperation with the Department of Primary Industries.
Procept investigated a networked, robust and automated biophony sensor station. The aim of the station was to monitor the environmental acoustic signals produced by insects, birds and other organisms for the rapid assessment of bio-diversity in agricultural production and forests.
