Electronic engineering is where we started

Procept was founded in 2006 to enable Australian businesses to access the same world class electronic engineering services as were available to multi-nationals.

After many years’ experience in telecommunications with Ericsson, the founding team saw an unmet need for expertise in powering new handheld embedded devices like phones. This was before the mass introduction of mesh technologies like Zigbee and, in our first year, we won our first technology award for a wireless industrial sensor called ControlMesh. Ever year since then, we have helped our customers win technology awards of excellence and government grants for research and development.

Procept is a Registered Research Agency (RRA) approved by Innovation Australia, a Federal Government initiative, to conduct contracted Australian R&D, and hence can provide the tax and financial benefits that this status bestows.
